This should at least see an end to "S.A.D." Seasonal affective disorder, where people feel doomier and gloomier due to the winter weather and lack of sunshine.
The sunnier weather is on its way back...

Ironically I suffer from SAD and I feel the effects more in the summer. I prefer autumn and winter, spring just sees the start of my depression and summer sees the depths of my moods.

According to Wiki that is known as RSAD (Reverse S.A.D.) I guess it is ten times less common than regular SAD!

I am susceptable to SAD. For a while I was on Wellbutrin, but I gave that up last year when I suspected that I didn't really need it. I did start taking 5-HTP when the days started getting a lot shorter, and I have a few "daylight" CFL bulbs around the house, including one right next to my bed that I turn on as soon as I wake up. This past winter, I felt fine.
